Soderstrom Skin Institute began as one small dermatology office in Morton, Illinois in 1973 and since then has grown into one of the top skin care facilities in the United States. Today, our main location is in Peoria, IL and houses Soderstrom Dermatology Center, Skin Dimensions Day Spa and Peoria Ambulatory Surgery Center. We have satellite offices located in Morton, Galesburg and Peru, Illinois and in Clinton and Davenport, IA. Soderstrom Skin Institute is a dynamic and fast-growing multi-speciality clinic looking for motivated, ambitious individuals to join our team.
Soderstrom Skin Institute: Patients are seen for everything from acne, psoriasis, moles, skin cancer, rosacea, laser treatment of wrinkles, tattoo removal, birthmarks, hair reduction, vein therapy, BOTOX® Cosmetic and spa services to cosmetic plastic surgery procedures. Various blood tests and biopsies are performed at our office and many specialized and/or hard to get treatments can be purchased from our Drug Room.
Skin Dimensions Day Spa: Our day spa opened in 1991 as one of the first medi-spas in the United States and was designed to create an atmosphere of luxury, comfort and expertises. The spa was conceived to futher complement the variety of skin care services and treatments available at Soderstrom Skin Institute.
Peoria Ambulatory Surgery Center: PASC is fully accredited by the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care, Inc and approved by Medicare. It is a mulch-specialty facility that offers a wide range of procedures. It offers privacy, free parking easy access and personalized care.
Skin Dimensions Boutique: Located at Shoppes at Grand Prairie, Peoria, the Boutique opened in November 2007 with our clients' variety of needs in mind. It offers the highest quality of skin care products and services within the convenience of a shopping mall.
Skin Dimensions Online: Our online store, located at skindimensionsonline.com, makes available to our clients and patients the highest quality of skin care products from the convenience of their own home. Gift cards to Skin Dimensions Day Spa and Skin Dimensions Boutique can also be purchased online.
Community Service: Service to the community is also an ongoing activity at the Corporation through public lectures, informative brochures, free skin cancer screenings and our educational magazine Skin News. Soderstrom Skin Institute is a founding member of the Central Illinois Lupus Society and the Psoriasis Support Group. Dr. Soderstrom is the medical director of both those organizations.
